This fire department was formed as a non-profit fire department that contracts with Forsyth County to provide emergency services to the citizens located within and passing through the fire district. This fire department is not a government agency, which means we are not required to abide by North Carolina open records laws. Despite that fact, the Board of Directors and fire department management find it necessary to provide the public with as much information as possible so that anyone interested in the financial and operational functions of their fire department can view this information with ease.
